 Request for Proposal for a Building Assesment Consultant

Wascana Centre’s Board of Directors is continuing with the Comprehensive Review - the Vision for the Next 50 Years and Beyond with the infrastructure assessment portion of the Project. The first RFP in this series is for building assessments. The overall project management services for the Review are provided by Stantec Consulting. Prairie Pond Hockey Challenge! 

Mark your calendars! The 2nd Annual Prairie Pond Hockey Challenge will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 on Wascana Lake in Regina. The event was formed from a collaboration of the Saskatchewan Hockey Association, Wascana Centre Authority, and the Regina Cougar Men’s Hockey Alumni.

 Wascana Icecycle

South Sask Mountain Bike Club, Dutch Cycle and Wascana Centre present Wascana Icecycle on Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. View the event poster for more information.

 

 

Cross Country Ski Trails 

The Regina Ski Club maintains cross country ski trails in Wascana Centre around the Douglas Park and Science Centre areas.  Click the link for area maps and information on the current trail conditions.

 

 Skating in Wascana Centre

The Wascana Centre public skating area near the Canada Games Wascana Lake Centre at the Marina is ready for use! This is a free, unsupervised facility open to all residents and visitors. The area is lit until 10:00 p.m.

 

A heated indoor skate change area open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. has been provided within the Canada Games Wascana Lake Centre building. Free parking is available in the Marina parking lot, the lower Marina parking lot, or at Wascana Place.
